Who we are
RPI is an independent professional member organisation designed to support practitioners working in diverse areas of Restorative Practice/Justice and related fields. Membership is open to practitioners and organisations throughout the country.
How to apply
To apply for membership, click Join Today, complete the online application form below, and submit it to Restorative Practices Ireland along with the relevant membership fee and documents.Individual Membership
€65.00 per annum
Individual Membership is available to restorative practitioners, and anyone interested in promoting the use of restorative practices in Ireland. Restorative practitioners are those who have undergone RP facilitation skills training with organisations endorsed by RPI or its equivalent.
Individual Membership
Your membership will help us to campaign for the widespread use of restorative practices, raise the profile of restorative practices in the media and with the public and enable people to access restorative practices wherever and whenever they need it.
On your behalf as a member of RPI, RPI will:
• Provide a coherent, collective voice for restorative practitioners, with a strong, active membership base
• Promote high-quality restorative practices
• Publicise outcomes deriving from effective restorative practices
• Advocate on behalf of members for the growth and development of high quality restorative practices.
• Establish mechanisms to enable and promote reflective, professional practices
• Support you in your professional practice and development
• Support a shared understanding of high quality, effective restorative practices, across relevant organisations, sectors and stakeholders.
Members will have access to RPI’s Newsletter, and a 25% reduction on fees for RPI communities of practice, seminars, conferences and events.
Organisational Membership
€175.00 per annum
Organisational Membership is available to groups and organisations that are interested in promoting and spreading RP throughout Ireland. Up to 10 staff or volunteers in Organisational Members will access the same benefits as individual members. Organisational Members will also be invited to nominate a representative to the RPI Steering Committee.
Accredited Trainer Membership
€200.00 per annum
Trainers who have undergone training of trainers or higher, with organisations like CDI Tallaght or an equivalent, and who wish to display their contact details on our website for researchers or those seeking training can do so. The RPI Quality and Assurance Committee will have reviewed and recognised their qualifications before publishing their details on RPI’s website.
Concessions
€33.00 per annum
Concessions are available to those whose only household income is from state benefits; this may include pensioners. If you are on a low income and the cost of full rate membership is a barrier to joining us, you may also qualify.
Students
€33.00 per annum
Student Membership is available to those registered with a further or higher education institute and studying a full time, part time or distance course. Courses must last at least one year and involve at least 21 hours full time or 10 hours part time study per week. Please ensure that you provide the name of your learning institute. You will be asked to send valid proof of studentship. This can be a scanned copy of your university card or letter from your university confirming your place on a course.
